Green and hairy

A busy and very satisfying day. Started with the allotment this morning. We planted some runner beans and our main crop potatoes. Hoed all the beds, strimmed the paths and did some weeding among the currents and the raspberries. As you can see the gooseberries are coming along nicely.
After lunch a trip to Batley looking for a birthday present and then some other shopping ahead of the next road trip. And the sun has shone, it has been warm and the skies have been blue.
