Morrisons this morning for " the big shop ".  Then breakfast before popping down to the village to pick up some tablets I had ordered from my repeat prescription. I order my prescriptions online and this time I needed 2 different types of tablets.  The guy in the chemists said he had 3 items for me.  He brought out the tablets AND a black bin bag.  Inside were boxes and boxes of compression bandage kits - the type the nurse uses when she changes my bandages once a week. I said that I wasn't supposed to get them - its the the nurse that needs them.  He said he would get them sent to the Health Centre  ASAP - certainly in time for Friday when I have my next appointment with the nurse.  Sounds like there was a proper mix up somewhere along the line.

Then I was off to Newcastle.  To Northern Stage to watch a production of " East is East ".  I had an excellent seat - right at the front in the middle of the row.  There weren't many people in the audience but I guess that's because its been on for a while - its been running since April 18th and ends on Saturday. I enjoyed the play even though the storyline was not a particularly happy one. A lot of conflict - and swearing.

The Northern Stage is in the grounds of Newcastle University so I chose to blip a view of one of the lovely old buildings on the campus.  As you can see the weather was really sunny and it was quite warm.

Had a quick look in M & S - bought some sweet pointed red peppers -  before getting the bus home.
