Rannerdale Bluebells.
We had set today for our visit to Rannerdale to see the Bluebells, last year we decided on a Bluebell wood in the south of the county. Kanyl had never visited before so obviously he accompanied us. It was a lovely warm sunny day so the track up to Rannerdale was busy.
The panorama is used for two reasons, first it is a long time since I had a go at one and as an attempt to give those not lucky enough to visit a slight impression of what it is like. There are 10 (yes that is ten) portrait format shots stitched together to form this shot.
I have added 3 extras one looking north one looking south and a shot of a single Bluebell. The drooping head of the Bluebell shows it to be a pure bred English Bluebell not hybridised with the stiff upright Spanish Bluebells.
