Saskia Sassen

Sassen was the keynote speaker at an event called 'Manchester Cosmpolis' held by MMU. Sassen is a renowned writer in the field of urbanisation and global economy, coining the term 'global city.' The talk was very interesting, Sassen encouraged us to breakdown objects to understand their use and posed the question 'who owns the city?'
