she tells a story in a rhythmic slow kind of melody, like a waltz almost, with a southern easy kind of gait - all about some fellow that she and the driver knew, who's been on hard times of his own makin'. (enchanting for someone who sits quietly seemingly paying no attention - :)
then I heard another storyteller tell a bits of her story making, Elizatheth Strout. I am so taken with her too. And I never said, do see the new film on Emily Dickinson. Spellbinding if you love language and the rhythm that some bring to thoughts. I feel pretty rich lately with all this!
