Another Steller's Jay Painting

I started a new painting today in open studio. I think I'm getting into a kind of a groove with the jays finally. I am not overly delighted with the first few I did. But this one and the one I finished a couple of weeks ago feel good to me. Sometimes it takes awhile to get tuned in to a new subject.

Had a short visit with Arvin after painting. He is still having some troubles. I was happy to give him affection and to hear him respond when I told him how much I love him. He told me he loves me too. It means a lot right now.
