Violet-Green Swallow

I cannot believe I got a photo of this beautiful Violet-Green Swallow. His color is so brilliant and he sat on the line waiting patiently for me to get this shot when he looked over his shoulder at me. I was excited to get two beautiful swallows this week.
Another beautiful day in Oregon, but the rain is forecast for tomorrow. I am not sad about the return of the rain because the yard needs to be watered. Perfect timing as far as I am concerned. :-))
