Sarah + Derwent water 7a.m. today.

It has been absolutely beautiful here early in the morning. I just managed to get some photos before the ducks came making annoying ripples and the breeze roughed up the surface.

Last night I saw a kingfisher hovering on the edge of the lake, then it shot off low over the water. An amazing sight.
