Grill of flowers

This grill of flowers on display in the florist's window caught my eye when I walked down Broughton Street this evening on my way home from a meal out with Winsford.

Earlier on campus: research student transfer meeting (she's now a PhD student); two annual review meetings for a couple of my direct reports; lunch with Kate; journal paper editing; conference travel/hotel booking decisions; and conference programme corrections.

And the big news is that I had a great sleep last night - as did Mr hazelh, banished to the spare room from the start :-)

Exercise today: sit-ups, weights and stretches, walk to work (14,737 steps).
