Just because it's been a while since I've posted a photo of the boy!  We were on our way to the hens, but via the very overgrown back garden, which is a more exciting route than along the road.  No sign of the hedgehog, but several pheasants.

All of the houses originally had long plots of land behind them.  Some are now fields, but others have been left to go wonderfully wild, a haven for birds and wildlife, and blackberries in the autumn.  Perfect for exploration!

Riding in the afternoon.  Nimbus has lost a lot of weight recently so the vet is coming to look at her teeth later this week.  It is the most likely reason, and the easiest to check out.  She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort and is still full of energy, cantering up hill and jumping with ease, so that's reassuring!
