The Shining

We should have been flying back to Manchester tonight to see family and friends but mildly concerned about our daughter we decided it would be better to keep her here with a regular routine. Lisa rerranged the flights for later in the year. The last time we went back it took a few weeks for her to settle again on our return. It's a shame to miss out on any opportunity to see family and friends but her welfare must come first. This is a sacrifice worth taking.

After the showers this afternoon the day ended with the sun effecting a glorious golden orb.. I opened the bedroom window and shot it through the branches of surrounding trees. A sight like this makes me feel privileged to be alive.
