Kendal Parish Church

I went to Kendal this morning to see Julian Cooper's exhibition at Abbot Hall.  Very interesting and informative.  And, very lucky to be able to walk around the exhibition with a group which was hosted by the artist himself.  Particularly liked his paintings of rock and slate.

Kendal Parish Church is next door to Abbot Hall.  The earliest parts of the church are 13th century although an earlier church is recorded by the Domesday Survey of 1086.  The church is the largest in Cumbria.

Tea and a catchup with a friend at Sizergh this afternoon.
