Community Garden

Before my shift in the craft shop this afternoon I called in to see a friend and her husband, who is very ill.  He's sleeping most of the time now, and my friend and his daughters take it in turns to sit with him.  It is most dreadfully sad, but he isn't in pain and he knows they are there with him.

Only stayed a very short time, then went to walk around the Marengo Community Garden.  A lovely tranquil spot, beautifully planted, and sheltered from the wind on this chilly day.
