little blue heron

We watched him for a while as he walked on our regular dock and our floating docks. He was intent on fishing for minnows! This little blue heron did catch a couple tiny fish and if you look closely you'll see there's a drop of water on his beak. :0) 

I'm just coming back from a hiatus and brushing up on my camera by reading a book about my Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ200. Steve had asked me about burst shooting and I had no idea how to, it had been so long that I did not remember! But, with the books help, I saw how easy it was to do and will be trying it out soon.
