Viva arte viva

23,000 steps today....going from one show to another. Loved Ireland's film, and some other shows in Arsenale (including this one of several linked to threads and fabric), then took in Wales, a few pavilions in the Giardini and (via a rather mediocre and slow cappuccino) on to the Scotland film and reception.
Back to the hotel and K arrived. After a quick shower we headed up to the Scotland party....same caterers as last night (i.e. slow and lukewarm lasagne!) but lots of good chat, Bellinis, and dancing in the cloisters til very late (including a mad Strip the Willow ending!)
Home through the narrow lanes after midnight
