Bellfield Saved

The Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform, Roseanna Cunningham (see extra) paid a visit to Portobello to see the Portobello Old Parish Church on Bellfield that is in the process of being bought for the community using money from the Scottish Land Fund after a community right-to-buy campaign led by the Action Porty group. Here some of the Action Porty team look at some of the exciting new plans for the buildings on the site. There was quite a media presence there too, with both BBC and STV as well as the Evening News and the Herald (which has done  great job of following the story) and media teams from the Scottish Government and the Church of Scotland.
