The Palais

Another guest blip from my better half (and unsolicited too, she'll be needing to set up her own journal...!)  She was very pleased with the view of this Nottingham icon from Confetti (Institute of Creative Technology), where she now works from there some of the time. It's the globe on top of the Palais, as it's still called by many of the city's residents despite any number of name changes since it was built - as the Palais de Dance - in 1925. When I got here in 1990 it was called the Ritzy (and fairly notorious in it's own way), at the moment it's called Pryzm. Suffice to say, I've never been inside...
