Transition ... winter steps aside for spring

My front porch tells the seasonal story .... rakes replace snow shovels, the dwindling wood supply reveals color beyond, the lattice which protects the porch from drifting snow now softens the summer sunlight. It's transition time in Vermont on this "Flower Friday."
