RAF College Cranwell
It's been a busy couple of days but Julia came back this afternoon. She had to go to camp to hand some stuff in and so I followed her so I could bring her back home, she was using an RAF car during the course she was on.
Her base now is RAF Cranwell and I couldn't miss the chance of taking a photo of the college and the gates with the golden RAF crests.
We stopped on the way back to take this pulling into a little gateway opposite the large gates.
You may not be able to see but there are about 5 tiers of seating laid out in front of the college, must be a parade or presentation of some sort. It's the Officer Training college so passing out parades are quite an occassion, but they are for any trade apprentices too. A very proud time for all concerned. see extra from April 1966 with my Mum and Dad.
