Brilliant day!

Such wonderful weather and such stunning wildlife, didn't know what to blip, so went for the loch as a main and just had to put the first Large Red Damselfly of the season in extra!
There were lots of them just emerging. Prior to this had seen four Slavonian Grebe grooming and bathing. During the course of a four hour hill and woodland walk, well scramble, well, shamble (NB FP!) saw five different species of butterfly and the Osprey on the difficult to get to site. Then had to sit in the sun and wash the blood from my legs. The ground is so dry the bracken stalks, gorse and scrub willow ripped them to bits. Of course, some people wear trousers!
Then returning along the Firth saw masses of bluebells in the wood.
Great day!
