That was interesting

We had a rather fab staff awards ceremony today, lots of pats on the back for people who have done really well this last year. TSM got two nominations and every team did a display about its work.

Exhausting day of meetings around this which then got even more interesting when the national cyber attack hit and we had to go into emergency mode to contact all our GPs to get them to shut down their systems and check out if the rest of the NHS locally was going to be able to cope. Didn't get away from the office until 6.45 but poor old TSM spent most of Friday evening after supper on the phone and emailing people about how to get systems up and running again.

Cyber crime really is a bummer. Nasty. Still, at least we have a way of dealing with the stress.
