World Wide Warren

Our bunnies are officially international! And the vet says we are doing everything right. And we have permission to put away the hateful nail clippers (cause of much trauma) until they are "bigger" (she does know that this is pretty much as big as dwarf rabbits get, yeah?)

Slightly stressful drive to the vet, just hoping they wouldn't escape from their box, then a noisy walk down a busy road hoping my voice would reassure them (so to me I was being a good pet-owner, to the rest of the world I was just a woman talking to a box). Slightly annoyingly, despite a real French speaker making the appointment (TallGirl -so I know it was done right), they hadn't made the link between two rabbits coming in for jabs meaning that they'd better check they had two vaccines in stock.... And of course they only had one. "You'll have to choose" she said. With each cute bundle very clearly representing one of my children.... So logic won and the first bunny into the house got the vaccine (that's Joey).

The vet also checked they were the gender they ought to be - which involved a lot of undignified squeezing of tiny private parts. Joey went into his little house when we got home and wouldn't come out until CarbBoy arrived home.

Most of the rest of the day was gardening. Trip to a garden centre with TallGirl where she spotted a poorly koi carp and made me go and tell them to do something about it.

Then the usual round of basketball (with another tick on my current French phrases bingo) and the airport to collect a poorly Mr B who is having a trans-Europe essay crisis with very shabby telecommunications. Gravel has quite worn me out today, so I might just slope off to bed.
