Another good days work in the mudroom, glaze kiln #2 on and firing!

There has been a meditation retreat going on here, as usual at this time of year.  however, it is very different this year!   usually we use the house plus the cabins, some folks stay over and all meals are eaten and prepared here.  Sometimes it is a bit too much for me...2 days is just fine and i am happy for the involvement...last year and this year it was decided to move it to a 5 day retreat!   I've usually got too much to do in the studio so only take part in 1 or 2 days.   So i will take part in a whole day of meditation and talks tomorrow which will be just great.   The guys organizing it this year took on all aspects of organizing the retreat...so a huge big relief for Terry and I!  

After i had loaded the kiln and had a nap....i joined everyone for a lovely supper and some visits.   It was good to share in some of the goings on!
