Swirly Morning Skies

Most of you blippers will recognize this scene. Yes, it is the same field and silos featured in my September 5 blip. I have two compelling reasons for using this particular photo:

1. I wanted to contrast the scene under different weather and lighting circumstances.
2. I had a hectic day, and didn't get a chance to take any other photos. This early morning shot was all I had! There you go, full disclosure.

In this photo, you can now see the two farms to the east of me; one raising beef cattle, and the other, with the silos, dairy cows.

Maybe a third, subconscious reason for this rash of country photos is that my time living out in these rural parts may (with the blessing of the real estate Gods) soon be coming to a close as we attempt to move closer into town, where there will be much less time spent riding a mower. The market for rural properties appears quite grim though, so, in the meantime, I will continue to breathe the fresh, clean air, enjoy my wide, open space and tranquility, watch our dog joyfully run top speed through the grassy fields, and know that I am home.
