New boots!

As the saying goes; buy cheap, buy twice.

I've always been a fan of nice English shoes and am very fortunate that the factory shops of some of the best manufacturers are just over the county border in Northamptonshire.

These are some end of line Joseph Cheaney's, one of my favourite makers, and they'll see me right for a good ten years or more. I've got a pair of oxford Grenson boots that are getting on for twenty-five years old now, so they don't owe me much!
