Anna Crossing the Baptism River

We woke up to snow this morning.  Anna was a good sport as we made a one-mile hike through the woods in snow/rain and mud.  This is a suspension bridge across the Baptism River at Tettegouche State Park. On the other side of the bridge is the High Falls.  From here we went to tour the Split Rock Lighthouse but it wasn't open yet for the season.  Standing up on that peak was very windy and cold!  I am trying to convince Anna that moving up here next year will be a good thing.  Today didn't quite convince her.  Tomorrow we will go into Duluth and shop.  That will make a better impression!
