visiting feather

Looking for a garden blip this afternoon I found this delicate little feather clinging on to an aquilegia flower. The wind was blowing but it still clung on. It looked as though it was keeping the flower warm.

A good day in the garden - this morning I planted the second side of 8 tomato plants in big pots in the greenhouse. I'm waiting another couple of weeks before doing the hanging baskets though as we keep getting the odd frost in the mornings.
