Beetle

Chasing the chickens out of the house yet again and I don't think giving them cuddles actually is discouraging them from entering. Turning my back for a second having fed the dogs in the utility I caught 3 of the fowl reprobates with their heads feverishly emptying Poppy's breakfast and both dogs acting chicken outside avoiding the confrontation. Come on! They are terriers! They must get a grip!!!

No idea - yes really no idea what this is. Guessing it's not an adult beetle more of a teenager? Anyone with a clue out there? Seen on the canal bank this afternoon. Don't you love my imaginative title? :))
