What's in a Name?
"That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."
William Shakespeare
Jacinta is celebrating a very special day. Her mother named her after Jacinta Marto, the youngest of three shepherd children from Fatima, Portugal, who are said to have experienced apparitions of an Angel and The Virgin Mary. Today they were made Saints on the day of the 100th anniversary of the first Marian apparition. In essence Mary's message was to pray for Peace using the rosary. Jamie made the cake, Jacinta decorated it. It will be shared after a special Rosary prayer evening which Jacinta is leading at our church tonight.
At home with Jamie I am hoping there will be a little left over :-)
