Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art 2

Today we got to see the Joan Eardley exhibition A Sense of Place.
This was our principal reason for visiting Edinburgh.
We were not disappointed.Wonderful to see her paintings up close after so many years of being shown slides of her work when I go to Bridge House Art.
After our visit to this gallery we popped across to see the exhibitions on at Modern Art 1.
Then we hopped on a bus to visit Lady Marchmont, JR, and of course Archie.
Much blethering, laughter, cake, tea, and a walk up Blackford Hill. Also Excellent !

After we went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2. (easy on the brain)
