A basketful..

...of asparagus.

Mr C and I were up and out early with Ruby. A walk along the river at Ripley and then a visit to the farmers market on the green. Ruby, as always, loved her walk. Jumping in and out of the water and running around crazily. Mr C hasn't done this walk for a while so couldn't believe how excited she gets.

We got quite a few purchases from the market including asparagus (freshly picked this morning) and a bottle of gin from the Silent Pool distillery. Just as we were getting our bits, it poured down.

We've had an early supper of homemade tomato and roasted red pepper soup followed by a cheese and meat board. Mr C, Sim and I then had a game of scrabble... Mr C beat me by one point! Natalie and I are going to have a night of cheesy tv watching the Eurovision;-D))
