This new roundabout really is to be avoided, but sometimes, you just can't help it and it is often the most direct route.

We called in at Wafi for a couple of things before meeting up with Pauline and a friend for dinner. Unfortunately, the time and place somehow got lost in translation (?!) read the person just can't keep time and we ended up having to change the venue/time etc. etc. Finally sat down to order at 8:30 in a restaurant closer to home. It was good to meet and catch up again, but it would have been so much nicer at 7pm! I am just tired and cranky from a very late night last night. (Didn't get to bed till 3:30 trying to sort out a computer problem which continued to the afternoon.)
