A Blue-tiful little bee!

Again looking up on google, this appears to be a Blue-banded Bee, (Amegilla cingulata). I was out looking for birds and butterflies again, when this little bee flew past and I thought at first it was a large fly like a bluebottle. But when it stopped on this flower and I was able to see it more clearly I was delighted to see the lovely blue and gold detail. It is such fun coming across such different little creatures. I was told there may be snakes in the little creek behind the house, but I haven't found those yet...
