Blowing in The Wind and Cat lovers….
We had a grrreat Mother’s Day and even got to have Coffee with one…A Mother that is…..
“T” (No not the furly one) but T of ‘TML here and there’ was here and I was there and she wanted my photo so this is covered in extras. I am proud to admit that I have featured in a previous photo shoot with a bear and a Christmas cake so I cant wait to see what happens this time…She was in town for Mother’s Day and I do think that it’s a special kind of mother that gets on an aeroplane and delivers herself to her daughters so the event can be celebrated. I do hope they paid for lunch…..
I was puzzled that The Boss had chosen to wear his boots to this Blip meeting and altho we were seated in the outside (sorta, it had a roof) bit of the coffee joint and the floor was clean he seemed over footed but after “T” (not the furly one) left we headed into the hills and 13000 steps and a couple of staggers later arrived at the Brooklyn Wind Turbine which sits on a hill (I bet you knew that) and generates enough power for 490 homes for a year. The daisy was blowing too.
Wellington has a nickname of “Wet and Windy Wellington”
It is amazing who you meet on hills as The Boss was chatting to a couple staggering up the trail and asked them, as he does, where they were from….Invercargill…Right.
On the way bark down we encountered the strangest thing I have ever seen and frankly don’t begin to understand.. Must be a Small Stuffed Dog thing I expect but cat lovers will rejoice. It was a full sized billboard...Disgusting! Look in extras again.
