Hold tight!

The wind blew really strongly as the Goldfinch landed in the top of the tree! It was a lovely sunny and warm day again. Surprisingly , the rare Coralroot orchid was just coming into flower. It was not out at the beginning of the week. It is tiny and inconspicuous but good to see. Also saw a lovely patch of Star of Bethlehem and some Spotted Wood butterflies.
