Placido Domingo

It has been a very pleasant and gentle Sunday. After a latish start, we played three sets of padel with Bob and Sylv, with honours almost even. Despite the excessive amount of sand on the court and four balls being lost to the undergrowth on one side and the vineyards on the other, we didn't do too badly, considering we hadn't played for over six months.

This was followed by a hearty brunch on the terrace in the midmorning sunshine.

Jacqui then returned to Playa Paraiso to do some stuff, while I did my ironing and caught up with a few episodes of Doctor Who and Time After Time in the cool of my apartment.

Now I must start the dinner and get ready for J's return for some roast chicken.
