First Harvest

A day enjoying being at home, having time to do as I want. I cleaned and sorted out some cupboards, re-potted my courgettes and cut these salad leaves - my first harvest of the year. I made soup, asparagus quiche and date and walnut cake, and managed a few hours at the allotment to plant out my sweet peas. The sun is shining brightly although the stiff breeze has blow my washing around the garden! Time for dinner and hopefully a walk in the evening sunshine.
