Crossing the Atlantic
Clachan bridge links the West coast of Scottish mainland to the island of Seil and oft called the Bridge over the Atlantic! Designed by an Oban man John Stevenson built between 1792 and 93. Originally had two arches in the design but built with a single arch to allow fishing boast etc to pass through.
Vististed that tacky shop at the end of the road which usually plays really naff music though today was playing T Rex!. Some of the stock has been there since I used to visit it in the mid 70s, I think the only fresh stuff is the shortbread and the jam! The oil paintings are a picture to behold also yet it has a steady flow of gullible visitors.
