Edge of the rain (Day 738)

The mist cleared overnight and I had a dry wander up the hill with the dogs this morning. It was really good to have a bit of a view for a change.
It wasn't long before my beautiful wife returned from her overnight shift at work, and we spent the morning relaxing with coffee. The weather deteriorated and there were spells of very heavy rain. As we headed to Birsay for a wander after lunch the rain was beginning to ease off. The sun came out as we arrived home and HV got ready to head to work.
I spent a while in the shed making a rack for the kayaks which Richard donated to us, finishing as torrential rain started.
It passed quickly and I couldn't resist the rainbow over the bay.
