The Capitol

The old Capitol Theatre at the top end of Union street which has been refurbished with the enormous office block at the rear.
I saw my first ever movie here, but I mainly remember it as a great live music venue in the 70s. Amongst others the Rolling Stones, AC DC, and Queen all played here. I also remember a particularly memorable performance by the late great jazz pianist Oscar Peterson.
