Stanley Spencer OBE English painter.

I went to the Odney Club today to walk around the Sculpture Garden Cookham. The first sculpture I seen was this one of Stanley Spencer. He lived most of his life in Cookham village which he loved. He was a sociable man a bit eccentric.
He became a familiar sight wandering the lanes of Cookham pushing the old pram in which he carried his canvas, easel and paints. My first and second blips are of Stanley and my third is of the Stanley Spencer Gallery which is in Cookham village. After we walked around the Sculpture Garden we went for a lovely meal in a pub near by. Enjoy the rest of your evening Blipper's.
