Autumn Is Announced

Went walking in the local park this morning and almost was blown off my feet! Plenty of small branches had come down in the night and there'd been a lot of rain.

I chose this image as for me, it conveys the fast scudding of clouds across the sky and chill feel of summer having turned the corner to autumn.

Late morning, in the middle of computer work, the broadband failed. Ten minutes earlier a neighbour asked for help as her electricity had gone off - checked fuse box and called the elec company. Then my landline phone went down. Left the house with various men digging hole in the road outside. here I am in Caffe Nero (fast wifi) working and blipping.
