Not a cloud in the sky

Well, erm, okay, there were a few clouds scudding about and they managed to decorate the sky quite well, but it was mainly hot and sunny; a factor 50 day.  So, in the finest tradition of outdoor fanatics we spent the day, yes you guessed it, outdoors.  Apart from the bits spent indoors doing chores and frantically trying to book a last minute MOT test because we forgot that it was due (yes we did also forget to tax the same car last year and received a fine for our forgetfulness).  Note to self "Too much time spent enjoying ourselves and not enough attention paid to the practicalities of life" !
