Sunday Train

Showery start to the day but it picked up in the afternoon. We decided on a walk from the house. By the time I reached the castle I was peeling off my raincoat.

Enjoyed a walk through the fields and round the flood works. It is good to see nature reclaiming the area which was disrupted with the installation. Including two grey Wagtails making good use of the posts as perches. Unfortunately they flew off before I got close.

Decided on this shot at the level crossing as the train left Pickering heading towards Grosmont.
