Patterdale from Stang End

We've escaped to Ullswater for a week and how good it is to get away from work and all other hassles.   After 13 hours of sleep last I woke feeling almost refreshed!  The forecast for the week is a bit dodgy and today was to be by far the best day of the week.  So, there was not time to waste and after a lazy brunch we headed up Glenridding Dodd and then on up Sheffield Pike.  The main image was taken on the descent looking towards Patterdale in the distance.  I just loved the colours and the lines.  The extra is from the top of Glenridding Dodd looking up Ullswater.
