Cows

Decided to do my bee walk for May today before the rain tomorrow and paused to take a photo of these calves, which were delightfully furry like big cow shaped teddies.  They must have thought I had food for them and suddenly they all started trotting eagerly towards me like slightly more menacing cow-shaped teddies.  There was only a tiny bit of wire fence between us so I backed off hastily and luckily they wandered off to explore a shady tree instead (see extra).  Hardly saw any bees after all that - think the wind was a bit too strong and gusty.  Will have to try again on a calmer day.
