Alambic
To Montlaur for a country fair this morning. All the usual suspects were there, including the guy who uses a still to make herbal essences. Here he is filling it with freshly gathered rosemary. We bought cheese, some pieces of lamb (plus ordering half a lamb for later), and some tomato and spring onion plants.
Back home, lunch, and then S went off to do a reading of his book in Fabrezan, and T and I headed off to Limoux for the second concert, in the piano museum. It's a great venue to sing in with good acoustics, so we improved greatly on last time, and it was a full house too (entry was free). Afterwards crisps and room-temperature blanquette de Limoux, but that's par for the course there. I got home at about 8 pm and was happy to discover that S had made dinner using the slices of lamb leg that we bought today. And relax ...
Extra is a photo I took while we were taking our places on stage; I like it, but can't decide whether to post it on the official choir Facebook page or not ...
