Silk-stitched photograph

...at Jane Vernon's Open Studio. I only popped in to give her some bubble wrap, but I've ended up choosing my own Christmas present! There's a while to go, of course.

We also visited Jackie Garner's open studio, in Randwick. Jackie is a wildlife painter, specialising in birds. Unfortunately I couldn't get any good shots of her work, so it'll have to wait till I can buy some.

Apart from that, I sat in the sun, and researched holidays. I didn't book a holiday for us for my half term, because I thought I'd be doing a course. Now I'm doing the course in bits and pieces, but I accepted a house / cat sit instead. The only trouble is, now that it's coming up to the anniversary of our Kefalonia trip, we both fancy another holiday. It's going to be very expensive in July/August, not to mention hot!
