Watching

Up early and walked juno at allotment. Tidied up the mess after abandoning yesterday after cutting my hand.

Burnt a heap of old wood and dry weeds.

Took juno up the river for a swim.

Home and hive inspections. 2 with queen cups and egg so preparing to swarm. One that I think is queenless, certainly judging by the aggressive behaviour and lack of brood.

Home and checked garage roof hives. One wee hive with queen cells so will unite with the queenless one.

Made tea.

Tidied garden as the temp dropped I prepared the hive to take to apairy to unite. It is always scary driving with a bee suit on with a hive in the boot.

United using newspaper method and it went quite well.

Home and watered the garden.
