Castle Howard

A weekend with friends in North Yorkshire and we spent the afternoon looking round the magnificent 18th century Castle Howard, best known for being the setting for the TV series Brideshead Revisited. It's still privately owned and has not been totally National Trustified, which made it an interesting tour. Strange that I've chosen quite an ordinary corner for my blip! The gardens were lovely too, so a very enjoyable day.
